Originally from New York, Pastor Fred moved to Summerville, South Carolina, where, at just 17 years old, he gave his life to Christ—a decision that forever changed the course of his life. As his faith grew, God called him into ministry, leading him to serve as a youth pastor for eight years before planting Spirit & Truth at Southside with a passion to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live with purpose.

Alongside him is his wife, Katrina, whose heart for evangelism, discipleship, and helping people discover their identity in Christ has been a vital part of the church from the very beginning. Together, they are passionate about building a welcoming church family where everyone can experience God's love, find authentic community, and be equipped to impact Charleston and beyond.
