College of Charleston Move-In Day

Starting college is an exciting new chapter, but it can also feel overwhelming for students and their families. Each year, our Young Adults Ministry serves at the College of Charleston to help new and returning students move in, get settled, and begin the school year with confidence.

We call this outreach "A Home Away From Home" because our heart is to make every student feel seen, supported, and welcomed from day one. Whether we're carrying boxes, offering encouragement, praying with families, or simply sharing a smile, we want every student to know they have a community that cares.

Our hope is that this first act of kindness opens the door to lasting friendships, meaningful conversations, and ultimately a deeper relationship with Jesus. College can feel like a world away from home, but we want every student to know they'll always have a place where they are loved, encouraged, and welcomed.
